Born in Tokyo, Japan, violinist Emiri Miyamoto spent her childhood in Germany. When she returned to Japan in 1991, she started playing violin not because of the influence of her musician father, but because of a friend who started playing music. At age 14, she won first prize at the German Youth Music Competition in Dusseldorf. After participating in several orchestras including Seiji Ozawa Opera Project and NHK Symphony, Emiri released her debut album smile in 2007. She has performed over 30 songs for films and TV shows and TV commercials.

Born Erwan Castex near Paris, Rone’s career in the electronic music scene spans 15 years, with six studio albums on the Parisian label InFiné, numerous collaborations and film soundtracks including Les Olympiades by Jacques Audiard for which he received the Cannes Soundtrack award, and Night Ride in 2021 for which he won the César for best film score. Known for blending talents and always exploring new directions, during the COVID pandemic, he originated the concept album Rone & Friends where singer-songwriter friends enriched tracks that had previously been instrumental. More recently, he has collaborated with the contemporary dance collective (LA)HORDE and presented L(oo)ping, a project in which synthesisers and classical orchestra merge for sold-out concert events.

Composer, performer, singer, producer, arranger and painter, Kazu Makino was born in the Kyoto Prefecture in Japan and grew up spending time with her grandmother who taught her about traditional Japanese art and culture, ultimately turning her towards musical instruments. In 1992, she followed American saxophonist John Lurie to New York, USA, where she established her musical identity. In 1993, Makino formed Blonde Redhead at the sonic intersection of her pastoral beginnings and the electric chaos of New York City. The group has released 10 albums to date.

A multi-award-winning drummer, producer, composer and former BBC 1Xtra resident, Moses Boyd grew up in south London, and began taking drum lessons at age 13. Influenced by hip hop, the sound of Grime, and British jazz icon Gary Crosby, Moses’s live and studio collaborations have ranged from touring with Sampha and Kelsey Lu, to his recent collaboration with South African Gqom king DJ Lag, featured on Beyonce’s soundtrack for The Lion King. Moses has released acclaimed solo projects though his Exodus record label, produced original scores for Paris fashion shows and is part of the group Binker and Moses.

Mary Lattimore is a harpist and composer living in Los Angeles, USA. She released her solo debut, The Withdrawing Room, in 2013 and also composes harp parts for songs and recordings, performing and recording with such great artists as Meg Baird, Thurston Moore, Sharon Van Etten... She composed a score for the silent film Le Révélateur and performed at Iceland’s Norður og niður festival. She has been awarded a residency at the Headlands Center for the Arts in San Francisco, where she recorded Hundreds of Days. In total, she has released three LP vinyl records on the Ghostly label.
