At Maison Krug, we have long understood that music can enhance the experience of our champagnes.
We collaborate with Krug Lover musicians to create original compositions that translate their tasting sensations into music, where tasting notes become musical notes as part of a heightened multisensory experience.
Music has also become a natural analogy to describe our craftsmanship, guided by our unique principle of individuality. This concept relates to the art of isolating each plot’s wine, like an individual musician, to identify with precision its unique melody. Only then can Cellar Master Julie Cavil audition them, like a conductor, to determine who will play together in harmony.

Krug x Larrabee Sessions, The Art of Blending KRUG & Sound
This fall, Krug invites guests inside Los Angeles’ legendary Larrabee Studios for an immersive dining experience where Champagne and music meet in a singular creative exchange.
Hosted by Grammy Award-winning producer Manny Marroquin, each intimate evening in Studio 6 will explore Les Créations de 2013 – Krug 2013 and Krug Grande Cuvée 169ème Édition – through a live musical composition shaped in real time by guests’ emotions, memories and tasting impressions.
Paired with a multi-course menu by Chef Oscar Torres of VERSE and additional Krug Champagnes, this first-of-its-kind experience brings the artistry of blending sound, taste and shared emotion to life.

Krug Grande Cuvée
Every year, after auditioning over 400 musicians – 250 wines from the year's harvest, alongside 150 reserve wines from previous years – our Cellar Master composes a new Édition of Krug Grande Cuvée.
Crafted around the harvest of 2018, Krug Grande Cuvée 174ème Édition is a blend of 143 wines from 10 different years. After resting for over seven years in our cellars, today it is the full orchestra performing the symphony of champagne, ready to be discovered.
