Krug Grande Cuvée
Krug Grande Cuvée is born from the dream of one man, Joseph Krug, to craft the very best Champagne he could offer, every single year, regardless of annual variations in climate. Since 1843, the House of Krug has honoured this vision with each new Édition of Krug Grande Cuvée: the most generous expression of Champagne.
The latest Édition
Krug Grande Cuvée 173ème Édition
Composed around the harvest of 2017, Krug Grande Cuvée 173ème Édition is a blend of 150 wines from 13 different years. The youngest is from the year 2017 and the oldest dates back to 2001.
In all, reserve wines from the Maison’s extensive library make up 31% of the final blend, bringing the breadth and roundness so essential to each Édition of Krug Grande Cuvée.
The Story of
Krug Grande Cuvée
A VISION BORN IN 1843
Krug Grande Cuvée is born from the dream of one man, Joseph Krug, to craft the very best Champagne he could offer, every single year, regardless of annual variations in climate. Since 1843, the House of Krug has honoured this vision with each new Édition of Krug Grande Cuvée: the most generous expression of Champagne.
By going beyond the notion of vintage to create the most generous expression of Champagne, every year, he founded a House in which all Champagnes are of the same level of distinction, with an undisputed quality.

Krug Rosé
The story of Krug Rosé dates back to 1976. With Joseph’s non-conformist spirit at heart, the 5th generation of the Krug family crafted a new composition, an unexpected rosé inspired by the Maison’s reputed art of blending.
Krug Vintage
Every Krug Vintage celebrates the distinct character of a particular year – a blend of its most expressive wines, enhanced by a stay of over ten years in the cellars.
Krug Clos du Mesnil
Krug Clos du Mesnil exalts the extreme purity of one of the finest terroirs in Champagne – a single walled plot of vines, the Clos du Mesnil – and of a single grape variety – Chardonnay – from a single year.
Krug Clos d'Ambonnay
Krug Clos d’Ambonnay exalts the elegant intensity of a single parcel – the Clos d’Ambonnay – and a single grape variety – Pinot Noir – from the harvest of a single year.
Krug Collection
A limited number of bottles of Krug Vintage are kept in ideal conditions in our cellars, developing additional facets, depth, concentration and patina. When the Cellar Master notes the emergence of these new flavours, the bottles receive their cork and are presented as Krug Collection.
