About the Krug Lover
Born and raised in Riga, Sales Director Agnese Gintere, Master of Wine candidate, is a renowned sommelier of the Baltics, and the first female Best Sommelier of Latvia. Her approach combines two essential aspects of wine: passion and deep theoretical and practical knowledge. Agnese celebrated her very first achievement in her wine education with Krug Grande Cuvée.

What three things would you take with you on a desert island?
“One Hundred Years of Solitude” by Gabriel García Márquez, Krug Grande Cuvée and a sabre.
How would you describe yourself in three words?
Honest, not too serious, and sometimes too serious.
What qualities do you value most in another person?
Honesty and a good sense of humour.
Who would you like to share your dream dinner with and why?
Brian Cox, because I would love to pick his brain about astrophysics.
When was your most recent sip of Krug?
As I am answering this question, I am sipping a glass of Krug Grande Cuvée.

Soft-boiled egg served with red caviar and a glass of Krug Grande Cuvée.
