Krug Ambassade Flore in Amsterdam warmly invites you to a singular evening on June 24, centred around an exceptional line-up of Krug champagnes. Discover a refined dining experience in which each cuvée reveals a different facet of the House’s craftsmanship, in dialogue with the cuisine of Chef Antonello Nicastri.

The evening will be elevated by the presence of Jérôme Jacoillot, member of Krug's tasting committee, who will share the story behind each champagne.

Enjoy a specially created menu paired with Krug Grande Cuvée 173ème Édition, Krug Grande Cuvée 169ème Édition, Krug Rosé 28ème Édition, Krug Collection 1996, Krug 2013 and Krug Clos du Mesnil 2009.

About the Krug Lover

A Krug Lover since 2017, Head Sommelier Antonello Nicastri first discovered the champagne’s unparalleled precision and elegance while working at the Michelin-starred Latymer in the UK, where he began pairing its distinctive notes with his culinary creations to elevate every dish. 

What qualities do you value most in another person?

Honesty, sincerity, positivity. 

What role does Music play in your life?

Music, for me, is a bridge between past and present – unique songs are eternal. 

Where are you when you feel the happiest?

By the sea in Puglia with a glass of Krug and the company of a good friend. 

How would you describe yourself in three words?

Positive, thoughtful, artistic. 

What three things would you take with you on a desert island?

Pizza, music, and Krug.

What makes you a Krug Lover?

My eyes speak louder than my voice when I talk about Krug. 

What is your favourite Krug food pairing?

Krug Grande Cuvée 167ème Édition paired with a dessert of oat, kombu ice cream, crispy seaweed, and caviar. The highlight was a delicate shiitake caramel, creating an umami-rich connection that echoed the champagne’s depth and complexity.
