My idea of pleasure encompasses those unique moments that cannot be bought and should always be shared with those you love the most.
How would you describe your culinary philosophy?
My cuisine is intensely flavoured, with spices, aromatic herbs, and Mediterranean techniques. Local and seasonal products have been our trademark from the beginning.
What is the most inspiring experience you had on your journey to becoming a chef?
To form human teams and, above all, to know how to manage a business.
Can you describe your culinary journey?
I entered the world of gastronomy as a dishwasher at age 15. By 18, I had studied cooking and was working in Barcelona, where I gained experience at several exceptional restaurants. I then came back to Mallorca in 2012 and opened my own restaurant in 2012.
What are your sources of inspiration?
The vegetable gardens, the markets, the moments lived, my children and my wife….and specially the magical corners in Mallorca.
Where are you when you feel the happiest?
Looking at the sea, with a rice dish and a glass of Krug Grande Cuvée, surrounded by loved ones.
What makes you a Krug Lover?
The culture, the effort to preserve the quality, the values of the House and the tradition for the exquisite.
What is your favourite Krug food pairing?
I would say any dish that mixes sea & mountain.
