The House of Krug invites your senses on a journey of pleasure to discover the creations of 2008: two different expressions of nature as a tribute to the House’s founder, Joseph Krug.
In 2017 Krug Grande Cuvée 164ème Edition emerged from our cellars for the first time. Today, we are delighted to present Krug 2008.
In 1848 Joseph Krug wrote in his dark cherry personal notebook, “a good Champagne House should only create two Champagnes of the same quality”. Champagne Number 1, Krug Grande Cuvée, is his dream, the most generous expression of Champagne and the House’s most original creation.
Champagne Number 2, Krug Vintage, is the expression of the circumstances of a particular year, captured by Krug.
The Creations of 2008 were intentionally kept in our cellars, waiting for this very special moment. Krug 2008 is the story of the year, captured by Krug and Krug Grande Cuvée 164ème Édition is the most generous expression of Champagne, composed around the harvest of 2008.
