Located on the north-west tip of the island of Mahé in the Seychelles, the Ephelia hotel complex offers a variety of accommodation and activities in wide-open spaces nestling between two natural coves, as well as the largest spa in the whole of the Indian Ocean.
Each of the Hillside Villas clinging to the black granite rocks consists of two bedrooms, a terrace and an infinity edge pool with a view of either the bay of Port Launay or the north beach. Other family villas with swimming pool, close to the beach, have a surface area of 350 square metres. As for the one-bedroom spa villas, they offer a private pool, a stream room, a sauna, a meditation space, a jacuzzi and a massage treatment room, along with a pergola for total relaxation. The Constance Ephelia Resort comprises 184 junior suites, 40 senior suites, 44 villas and even a presidential villa shrouded by vegetation and with a view of the entire complex.
An impressive choice of restaurants offers a wide range of international cuisine: the Cyann for sushi prepared before your eyes, the Seselwa for typical Seychelles cuisine to be eaten right there on the sand, or the main restaurant, the Corossol, where the cooking is done right in front of you. On the south beach, the Hélios offers its Mediterranean flavours, and if you want grilled local fish, you go the Adam and Eve.
The spa is a genuine village, five thousand square metres devoted to wellbeing: the largest in the Indian Ocean! Some visitors return just to take advantage of the treatments provided by nineteen therapists trained in the “U Spa by Constance” treatment protocol. The spa is surrounded by well-conserved vegetation and huge grey and black rocks lovingly polished by time. From there, the path leads to a shady enclosure, home to the famous giant Seychelles tortoises, protected by the Constance group. They spend their time eating, sleeping, and looking at the visitors who have come from all over the world to observe them … Their days are not unlike those of the visitors themselves, who also eat, rest and move about at a slow pace!
