Your sources of inspiration:
I am inspired by the complexities of life: human relationships and the way they make you feel, how life throws things at you when you least expect them…All this can challenge you but at the same time it is also what makes living so interesting and powerful.
Your greatest achievement:
Being able to do what I love every day! I feel truly blessed that I was given this opportunity to wake up every morning and face yet a new day playing or creating music. I never thought I would be able to spend my life surrounded by people who share the same passion, meeting great artists and playing at events around the globe.
The quality you value most in people:
A great sense of humour. Because laughter is like medicine. You cannot really go wrong with a person you that can consistently laugh with. Also laughter makes you literally and physically feel happy.
The person you admire the most:
Barack Obama because he has gone down in history for not only being the first ever black president but for embodying the importance of strong morals and family as well as being effortlessly witty, intelligent and progressive, thus becoming an inspiration to all types of people all over the globe.
What does Champagne evoke for you? Pleasure? Hedonism? Sharing?
Pleasure! Champagne is always served at the best parties and is part of life’s big events: weddings, anniversaries, birthdays. It is also one of the first things you get served when arriving at an event – it has become part of a welcoming ritual.
The best moment to enjoy Champagne:
On Christmas morning! For me, Christmas Day is one of the only times in the year when it feels right to start having fun from the moment you get out of bed. Champagne on Christmas morning truly feels like a celebration and hopefully you are with your nearest and dearest enjoying a rare moment of carefree togetherness.
Your first sip of Krug:
It was at the House of Krug in Reims – I was transported by the unstoppable flavours of that first sip! Before coming to Reims, I had drunk Champagne on special occasions, but hadn’t really taken the time to savour it fully. During my visit to the House, as well as learning about the story of their creation, I discovered an array of different aromas and flavours in Krug Champagnes.
