What is your fondest memory of Krug?

In 2012, I was lucky enough to visit Le Clos du Mesnil. Having the opportunity to soak up the atmosphere as well as tasting Krug Clos du Mesnil 1998 was truly magical!

What inspires you?

Dreams, travel and meeting people.

What has been your greatest achievement with the House of Krug?

The special relationship we have formed with Krug has enabled me to organize two outstanding Krug dinners, working with our Head Chef Jean-Luc Rocha and Head Sommelier Arnaud Le Saux. The first one was held in 2012 with Oliver Krug, who presented Krug Clos du Mesnil 2000. The second one was in 2014 with Julie Cavil, Krug's Head of Oenology, who presented Krug Clos du Mesnil 2003.

What is most important to you in life?

The art of living, which includes Champagne, wines and gastronomy. In my opinion, this covers history, culture, geography and climate. I see such quality and high standards in the people who create these wines and dishes.*

What human quality do you value the most?

Appreciating the good things in life, and being generous and sincere. These are also the qualities that I look for both in people, in terms of their lifestyles and attitudes, as well as in products, that must be genuine and full of flavor.

What is your favorite food pairing with Krug?

Krug Grande Cuvée with crab cannelloni and gray shrimp bouillon.
