As the world changes, so do our guests and their tastes. Luckily, our hunger for new pleasures never does – it sparks our creativity and desire to provide new and exciting culinary adventures. Beluga Loves You allows guests to find out how contradictions can merge with high-level food in a casual atmosphere.

How would you describe your culinary philosophy?
I try to stay ahead of the game, while always enjoying what I am doing. I also aim to make it accessible to everybody, we should be ready for a new generation who want honest food and local ingredients prepared with love. I listen to my guests; I believe I set trends by following them and their desires and trying to take them further than their expectations.
Your sources of inspiration?
Sports, Limburg, my son, traveling – especially to Latin America and Italy – conversations with the people I meet and Music.
Who is your hero and why?
My culinary hero is Alain Passard from L’Arpège in Paris: I am melting when watching his episodes of his series on Netflix. And Nadia Santini from Dal Pescatore in Italy. I will only ever get married again if the lady in question can make me a pasta like Nadia Santini.
What is your ultimate dream meal?
All day breakfast on a Sunday with friends, family and – of course – a bottle of Krug Grande Cuvée.
What makes you a Krug Lover?
To me, Krug Grande Cuvée is my favourite Champagne experience ever.
