Krug Grande Cuvée 174ème Édition
Krug Grande Cuvée is born from the dream of Joseph Krug to craft the very best champagne he could offer, every year, regardless of annual variations in climate.
Each year, Maison Krug honours his vision with a new Édition of Krug Grande Cuvée: the most generous expression of Champagne.
Beyond the notion of vintage, Krug Grande Cuvée is always a blend of over 120 individual wines from more than 10 different years, expressing a fullness of flavours and aromas impossible to achieve with the wines of a single year.
In all, reserve wines from the Maison’s extensive library make up 36% of the final blend, bringing the concentration, complexity and roundness so essential to each Édition of Krug Grande Cuvée.
The final composition of this champagne is 54% Pinot Noir, 29% Chardonnay and 17% Meunier.
In all, over 20 years of careful craftsmanship were necessary to enjoy Krug Grande Cuvée 174ème Édition.
A word from
The cellar master
Crafted around a beautiful harvest marked by few challenges, this Édition of Krug Grande Cuvée came together quite naturally.

Tasting Notes
Expressive toasted aromas with notes of dried fruit, light smoky nuances, mandarin and candied citrus.
Mouthwatering, with vibrant hints of tangerine and citrus underscored by notes of chocolate, beeswax and fruit confection. A harmonious, generous and rich mouthfeel gives way to an elegant, slightly bitter finish.
FOOD PAIRINGS
It pairs beautifully with simple pleasures like Jabugo ham and mature Comté, or asparagus roasted with garlic butter. Gastronomic options include Moroccan hake chermoula or tarte tatin.
